PRESS RELEASE FOR THE HARTLEY VALLEY GARDEN FESTIVAL AND PLANT FAIR
The Hartley Valley Garden Festival and Plant Fair returns with an explosion of colour and creativity.
HARTLEY VALLEY, NSW – This March 7 and 8, the Hartley Valley transforms into a living gallery as four of the region’s most prestigious acreage properties open their gates for the Hartley Valley Garden Festival. Located just 1 – 2 hours west of Sydney in the picturesque Seven Valleys, this festival is fast becoming the ultimate destination for garden enthusiasts seeking ‘heart and soul’ in landscape design.
Far from your average garden trail, the event offers an intimate look at four diverse properties curated by passionate garden creatives and trained horticulturalists. Visitors can explore the naturalistic sweeps of Wild Meadows, the structured elegance of Highfields, the rustic charm of the ‘paint-box’ garden Hartvale and the serene, authentic beauty of Gory’u Japanese Gardens.

The festival is designed as a masterclass in garden diversity. From breath-taking views to individually curated ‘garden rooms’, attendees can gather practical ideas for their own backyards. To make the experience more valuable, the garden owners will be on-site all weekend offering expert advice on plant selection, soil health and design principals. Visitors can browse specialised plant and artisan stalls or indulge in the quintessential garden experience with home-made cake and fresh coffee available for sale at most of the properties.

“Hartley is evolving into a true horticultural hub,” say the festival organisers. “We wanted to create
an event that wasn’t just about looking at plants, but feeling the passion behind them. These gardens are labours of love and we invite everyone from Sydney to country areas to breathe the mountain air and get inspired.”
