New for Book Chat and Movie Appreciation Group at Wallerawang Library

The book chat and movie appreciation group held at the Wallerawang Branch of Lithgow City Council Library service, has been revamped and will now be held monthly, on the last Friday of every month.

Everyone is welcome to come along, enjoy a tea or coffee, and discuss all things book or movie related. This isn’t a book club. You don’t have to read the same book, or watch the same movie. However, every month you will find a new Reading Challenge prompt, on the library catalogue homepage. You can read, or watch, one of the suggested titles in preparation for the monthly get together, although it is not a requirement to do so.

This month, the Reading Challenge prompt will be: ‘Read the book or watch the movie’. You can find the list of titles on the library homepage, calling the library or dropping in to your closest branch, where staff can help you access the list.

Sharing your thoughts with others may just inspire them to pick up that favoured book, or watch that beloved movie. You may be inspired by someone else to try a new genre or revisit old favourites.

Book and movie appreciation chat will take place on the last Friday of each month, commencing Friday 25 August at Wallerawang Library from 3.00pm until approximately 4.30pm. No bookings are required.
