What a huge day it was! We raised $13,267 for Daffodil Wig Library and Can Assist Bathurst selling all 1000 bunches of daffodils!
There are many many people to thank, so hold on to your hats! A huge thank you to Mandy and Heather. They did an amazing job painting the town yellow in our drive thru. Thanks Deb and Kerry from Stax Security for making another huge donation this year. We very much appreciate your support. We had several other very large and other smaller donations from anonymous people. You are all AMAZING!
The real estate agents of Bathurst, the very first businesses to support us in this fundraiser 4 years ago and they back this event whole heartedly every year and we really appreciate it.Well done Brilliant Street Cafe, Macquarie Medi Spa and Bathurst Base Cafe – all selling our daffodils today. A huge effort!
A big shout out to all the other florists who had a massive day on the tools today. We’re all in this together.
Lastly, thanks to the lovely team at Vanessa Pringle Floral Design. Richard our driver who had an extended trip home from the flower markets yesterday (thanks to the snow) bringing all these lovely fresh flowers and my girls in the studio who work tirelessly. We’ve all had our lives changed by the effects of cancer and we will not stop until there is a cure. The daffodil is a symbol of hope!
