Nominations and Award entries were officially opened for The Black Rose Excellence in Business Awards at the Chamber’s Awards Information Session and Invigorating Business in the Lithgow Region Workshop held at the Lithgow Golf Club on Tuesday night 9 August.
Steve Ring, Chamber Executive Committee member and BLER Steering Committee Director said, “The Chamber is delighted to be able to host the first business awards held in the Lithgow region for well over 10 years. This is an important event for the Lithgow businesses and we hope that the business community will get behind the event and support it to further develop and grow business networks in the region. The stronger the business community is in the region, the more power it will have to advocate for the entire Lithgow region.”
“The Black Rose Excellence in Business Awards are a milestone for the Chamber and for the Lithgow regional business community, but we can’t make the night a success without the support of our local business community. We want the Awards to become an annual event and one of the most prestigious annual events on the Lithgow regional calendar. They are a recognition and celebration of local business excellence. They provide inspiration to business and set benchmarks for best practice. There are more than 1,400 businesses eligible to enter The Black Rose Awards,” he said.
The Awards night is being held on 26 November at the Lithgow Workies and will be a gala cocktail dress event with local musicians, performers, local produce and special guest MC, Peter Watson from 2LT. The night will be a night of celebration for every business that’s entered the Awards.
The winners of The Black Rose Awards (that are in alignment with Business NSW Award categories), will automatically be able to enter the Central NSW Business Awards.
