Smith & Jones – Live & Kicking @ Gang Gang Gallery

Smith & Jones are a duo that was forged from a friendship that developed at a record store in Bathurst. 8 years later and two albums on Abby (piano) & Sophie (guitar) are accomplished musicians who combine two strong voices, which were destined to be joined in harmony.

Put simply where ever they play they get straight to the heart of an audience.

They have toured extensively and most recently have provided support to Katie Noonan, Sam Buckingham, The Hussy Hicks and Amy Vee. They have appeared at many festivals including Tamworth as well as Inland Sea of Sound. They have also worked as educators, community choir leaders, mentors to young artists & conducted workshops within the disability sector. They’ve even expanded their creative outlets as composers and performers in theatre and as part of visual art installations.

They recently released Waiting on My Turn as a single, which marks a new chapter in the sound and musical journey of Smith & Jones.  Currently recording their third album, you’re sure to get a chance to listen to some of their new tunes, including their current single Highrise
