Play together, learn together and laugh together at Bathurst Library’s 2021 International Games Week celebrations later this month.
Whether you are a board-game connoisseur, a card expert or simply enjoy trying something new, people of all ages and interests are welcome to visit the library for two family gaming sessions being held from 4pm to 6pm on Thursday November 25 and Friday November 26. There will be a large variety of games available, including Monopoly, Jenga, Settler of Catan, Battleship, Uno, Harry Potter Snap, Guess Who, Shopping List Game, 5 Second Rule Jr, Pop up Pirate and many more!
International Games Week is celebrated in November across the world and aims to reconnect communities through their libraries around the educational, recreational, and social value of all types of games.
Bathurst Library Manager, Patou Clerc, is looking forward to seeing families laughing and learning through game playing. “Games can really bring families together for a bit of fun, collaboration and creative thinking,” Ms Clerc said. “Tabletop games are a great way to disconnect from the digital world for a period of time and there is something available for everyone at these two events.”
Bookings are essential and current Covid-19 entry conditions apply. For more information and registration details, visit bathurst.nsw.gov.au/library or call 6333 6281.
