Council advises that the Lithgow Library will be closed on Thursday 17 February and Wednesday 23 February 2022.
This is to allow the erection of scaffolding, and the removal of hazardous material from the building by a licensed asbestos removalist, as part of the ongoing awning and facade replacement works at Lithgow’s library.
The library will re-open for regular business on the days following the closures.
Library works are currently tracking as planned and are expected to be completed by early-April, with a new design that compliments the heritage value of Lithgow’s Main Street.
