There was plenty to cheer about for Oberon Netball Club last Saturday, with Round 10 bringing another great day on the courts and some fantastic performances across the club.
The Under 12s continued their impressive season with another convincing win, taking the game 11–2 and holding onto third place on the ladder.
It was a terrific team effort from all the girls, with Annabelle having her eye well and truly in, sinking some fantastic shots throughout the game and earning herself a very well-deserved Player of the Match.
The Under 16s had an unexpected weekend off after the BNA 13 Development team forfeited their match. While they didn’t get the chance to hit the court, the result still delivered Oberon a win and helped the team move further up the ladder.
It wasn’t quite the result the Seniors were hoping for, but there were plenty of positives to take from their game. The team has shown enormous improvement since facing the same opposition earlier in the season, significantly closing the gap on the scoreboard. Congratulations to Jai, who was named Player of the Match.
A big shout-out also goes to this week’s umpires Amanda, Acacia, Jorja and Lexi, who once again did a fantastic job out on the courts.
With the season rolling along, the club is already looking ahead. Registrations will open at Oberon Netball Club’s End of Season Presentation Day on Saturday, 26 September 2026, with uniforms also available to try on during the day.
