A wide range of Bathurst community organisations have shared in this year’s ClubGRANTS funding, with successful recipients recognised during a presentation ceremony held at Bathurst RSL Club on Thursday, July 30.
The annual program, proudly supported by Bathurst RSL Club and Bathurst Panthers in partnership with ClubsNSW, provides vital funding to local organisations delivering important services, programs and community initiatives across the region. Bathurst Mayor Robert Taylor officially opened the presentation, acknowledging the significant contribution ClubGRANTS continues to make to the local community.
Among the successful recipients were Bathurst & Districts Poultry Society for cage upgrades and education initiatives, Bathurst Community Transport for its radiation bus service and vehicle safety upgrades, Bathurst Highland Society, Bathurst Local Aboriginal Land Council, Bathurst Remembers and Café on Corporation.
Funding was also awarded to CareFlight, Central West Brain Injury Action Group, Defence Bank Foundation, Doin It For Rural Aussie Kids, Hope Care, Inspiring Hope, KareyandKareful Foundation, Lifeline Central West, Little Wings, Miracle Babies Foundation, PCYC Bathurst, Road Safety Education Ltd, Royal Life Saving NSW, Solve-TAD Limited, The Nurtured Village Hampers, The Shepherd Centre for Deaf Children, Veritas House and the Western Region Academy of Sport.
The projects supported span a broad range of community needs, including health, transport, youth development, disability support, education, road safety, emergency response, mental health, homelessness, Aboriginal culture, sporting opportunities and community wellbeing.
The annual ClubGRANTS program continues to provide an important funding source for not-for-profit organisations, helping local groups strengthen the services and programs that benefit people throughout the Bathurst region.
