A very successful Bathurst Gardeners’ Club Spring Spectacular open gardens event held on the last weekend in October, 28th and 29th October 2023, enabled the Club to donate $27,000 back to the Bathurst community.
A small ceremony was held on 22nd November to donate to the designated charities.
The details are:
- $10,000 for the Defence Community Dogs – accepted by David Condon
- $3,000 for the Mitchell Conservatorium of Music Scholarships – accepted by Vivienne Galvin and Kaitie Baker
- $8,000 for the Bathurst Community Transport – accepted by Domino Houlbrook-Cove
- $3,000 for 2BS Community Charities – accepted by Janene Houseman
- $3,000 for Headspace – accepted by Sam Bolt
