Life-changing SuperUtes experiences for VERTO apprentices

Not-for-profit employment, training and apprenticeships services provider, VERTO, has renewed their support of Team Triton Racing in the SuperUte Series for a third successive year in 2023, an exciting partnership that will provide meaningful learning opportunities for several NSW apprentices.

“At VERTO, we pride ourselves on providing life-changing training and employment opportunities to our clients, so to again be working with Team Triton to offer money-can’t-buy learning experiences for VERTO apprentices working in the pits at some of Australia’s premier race car events is very exciting,” VERTO CEO Ron Maxwell said.

Up to 12 VERTO apprentices will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of Australia’s fastest car drivers at events in Sydney and Bathurst, including the world-famous Bathurst 1000.

The lucky apprentices will support the team over the weekend with a range of mechanical repairs and race car preparation, putting into practice what they are learning through their apprenticeships while working alongside some of the world’s best mechanics.

“At Team Triton, we are always on the lookout for the next generation of talent, and we think it’s important to work with VERTO to give something back to the industry by placing automotive technicians in a high-intensity, practical environment,” Team Triton Manager Craig Dontas said.

“It’s fantastic to have the support of a highly respected organisation like VERTO. Working with a major sponsor that helps Australians, young and old, from all walks of life, into education and employment aligns with our team’s core values.”

The 2023 SuperUtes Series began in Newcastle on March 10, with the first VERTO apprentices set to work in the pits on July 28-30 at Sydney Motorsport Park.
