C3 Church Bathurst are hosting an Album launch for local musician Carolyn Miller. Carolyn currently teaches piano and voice at the Mitchell Conservatorium.
The Album is called “In the Waiting” and contains an album of piano solos with an accompanying book of reflections. These ten pieces are connected by the theme “In the Waiting”.
This album will inspire those who find themselves marking time in life with a lack of direction. In this place people often feel frustrated with their eyes set on the future and what it will bring. The encouragement of this album is to shift the focus to the present time and find value in the current circumstances. Times of ‘waiting’ can be as important as times of ‘doing’.
The launch night is Saturday 30 April, 7:00 PM at C3 Church Bathurst, rear of 217 Howick St. Carolyn will perform several of her pieces live, give opportunities for people to purchase the music and enjoy some good company over supper. There is no entry cost for the night.
