Mayor Maree Statham was on hand at the 30 March official opening of Thrive’s new premises in Railway Parade Lithgow.
Thrive Services is a not-for-profit community organisation that supports children, families & others living in the Lithgow and Blue Mountains areas.
Previously known as Lithgow Family Support, it is now known as Thrive since merging with Blue Mountains Family Support in 2017.
Thrive Lithgow offers targeted early intervention family support services including support & case management, parenting groups and workshops, a Breakfast Club run with local area schools, budgeting and home management skills and family fun days.
“I was thrilled to be at the official opening of the new premises and to hear about the very important services that Thrive provides in this community,” said the Mayor. “We are very lucky in Lithgow, especially with the difficult times we have faced over the past two years with Covid, drought, bushfire and flooding, that Lithgow has dedicated and professional family support services like Thrive.”
