Stephen Seary, a stage designer, returns to Australia to say goodbye to his dying mother. A quick trip descends into chaos, drama, and funny moments as he juggles family tension, past lovers, and returning to Europe for an opera contract. Stars Brian Brown & Directed by Bruce Beresford.

Miss Robin Hood – 1952, rated G

A case of mistaken expertise sets the scene for this light-hearted British comedy. When writer Henry Wrigley loses his job, he is unexpectedly recruited by Miss Honey for a spot of safebreaking. She assumes his fictional creation proves he knows the job – but Scotland Yard soon becomes involved.

The World We Make – 2019, rated PG

Following a tragedy, 18-year-old equestrian Lee Grove and student-athlete Jordan Bishop find comfort in each other. As their relationship develops, they confront deeply ingrained racial prejudice within their small town and must support each other while trying to build a future together.

Lithgow Valley Film Society is located at 16 Main Street Lithgow. Registration cost is $15 per family (at the one address) for a year. Session cards available in lots of five but if your purchase an 8 session card, you will receive 1 complementary session. Candy Bar will be open, eftpos available. Membership is also strongly encouraged, this is how the LVFS can continue to provide such a wonderful service.
