Lithgow Swap Meet Returns for a Big Day of Bargains and Treasure Hunting

The highly anticipated 8th Annual Lithgow Swap Meet is set to return to the Lithgow Showground on Saturday, 7 March 2026, promising another huge day of bargain hunting, treasure finding and community connection.

Running from 7.00am, the Swap Meet has become one of the region’s most popular events, attracting collectors, sellers and shoppers from across the Central West and beyond. From monster garage sale bargains to rare collector items, the event offers an incredible variety of goods all in one location.

Visitors can expect to browse through an impressive range including antiques, toys, household goods, car parts, motorbikes and accessories, tools, pushbikes, blacksmith gear, furniture, jewellery, books, china, bric-a-brac and much more. Whether you are searching for something specific or simply enjoy the thrill of uncovering hidden gems, the Lithgow Swap Meet has something for everyone.

The event will be held at the Lithgow Showground, corner of George Coates Avenue and Barton Street, with plenty of parking available outside the venue. Entry for buyers is $5 for adults, with children under 14 free, making it an affordable and family-friendly outing.

Sellers are encouraged to secure their sites early, with gates opening for setup from 6.00am on Saturday morning. Outside sites are available for $20 with no size restrictions, powered sites are available for an additional $5 per day (limited availability), and covered sites are $30 (also limited). Camping is available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights for just $5 per night, making it easy for out-of-town stallholders to attend.

Food will be available on site throughout the day, ensuring visitors can refuel while continuing their hunt for bargains.

All proceeds from the Swap Meet go directly to Lithgow Show Society Inc, supporting the ongoing delivery of community events, including the upcoming Westfund Lithgow Show on 13 and 14 March 2026.

For bookings or enquiries, contact Kim Durie on 0409 455 877 or Vanetta Renshaw on 0493 042 008, or visit www.lithgowshow.org.au.

With something for everyone and a great community atmosphere, organisers are looking forward to welcoming locals and visitors alike for another standout Swap Meet in 2026.
