This year’s Westfund’s Lithgow Show is set to turn up the excitement with the launch of Freaky Friday, a bold, colourful and high-energy fancy dress celebration that promises to be one of the most talked-about show days yet. Mark it in your calendar now — Friday 13 March, from 3.00pm to 10.00pm, with the much-anticipated Fashions at the Show competition stepping into the spotlight at 6.00pm.
From circus-inspired costumes and carnival classics to freaky, fabulous and fantastical creations, Lithgow locals are being called on to unleash their creativity and dress to impress. Whether you’re channeling a ringmaster, fairy, superhero, monster or something completely original, this is your chance to steal the spotlight and bring the showgrounds to life.
The Fashions at the Show competition will feature multiple categories and plenty of prizes for the best-dressed show-goers, making it the perfect excuse to go all out. Gather your friends, plan your outfits and prepare to strut your stuff — this is not your average show day.
Adding even more excitement for families, school children will receive FREE entry to the Show on Friday 13 March, making Freaky Friday the perfect afternoon and evening outing for kids, teens and parents alike. With rides, entertainment, food stalls, show competitions and live atmosphere filling the grounds, it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable start to the Show weekend.
