For generations, the Blayney Agricultural Show has been a much-loved fixture on the Central West calendar, proudly celebrating rural life, community spirit and country tradition since its founding in 1878. More than just a show, it remains a true agricultural showcase and a family-friendly day out that continues to bring people together year after year.
The Blayney Agricultural Show will return on Saturday, March 7, 2026, inviting locals and visitors alike to enjoy a full day of entertainment, competition and classic country hospitality at the Blayney Showground.
The show offers something for all ages, with a wide range of entertainments, rides, competitions and delicious food, all delivered in a safe, welcoming and fun-filled environment. From the excitement of the rides to the friendly buzz of the showground, there is plenty to see, do and enjoy throughout the day.
A strong focus of the Blayney Show is participation. Visitors are encouraged not just to attend, but to get involved by entering the many competitions on offer. From traditional agricultural events and pavilion displays through to creative and community-focused categories, there are opportunities for everyone to be part of the show experience. Some competitions require entry prior to show day, while others are open on the day. Full details, including entry requirements, deadlines, fees and prizes, can be found on the Show’s website.
Affordability remains a key priority, ensuring the show is accessible for families. Entry is just $10 for adults, $5 for school-aged children, with preschool children free. Concession tickets are $5, and a family pass covering two adults and children up to 16 years is available for $30. Car entry and parking are free.
Food is another highlight, with a great variety of stallholders joined by the Show Committee’s own canteen, dining room, bar and multiple BBQs across the grounds, serving up a wide range of delicious home-cooked meals and beverages.
Visitors are reminded there is no ATM on site, so bringing cash is essential for gate entry, rides, competitions and food purchases. ATMs are available in Blayney’s main street, just a two-minute drive away.
With something for everyone, the Blayney Show on March 7 is set to deliver another memorable country day out.
