Chalk It Up for Mental Health

Locals came out in Portland on Saturday 30 October to use their artistic talents to leave a message for Mental Health in chalk at The Foundations.

Artist in residence Harrie Fasher and organiser of the month long initiative, Sonia Cox from Rural Adversity Mental Health Program welcomed visitors to the site and handed out chalk to anyone that wanted to leave a message or an image.

Ranging from little messages to butterflies and a large blue tree, the messages and artworks showed that everyone from young school aged children to adults has a message to share about Mental Health.
