“We know there is more to do and this first year has been a steep learning curve for all of us,” he continued.
The transition to a new committee was chaired by Ms Glena Anthes, who announced nominations and saw all officers elected to their positions.
The new committee is Graham Hodson – President, Mark Hoy – Vice President, Susan Bennett – Secretary, Lauren Evans – Treasurer, Karol Kukeski – Education Officer, Rhonda Collins – Events and Promotions Co-Ordinator, Karyn Mitchell – Membership Officer and Rich Evans – Marketing and Media Officer.
The new committee were all elected unopposed and are looking forward to the year ahead.
“We look forward to continuing to build up on the achievements of the outgoing committee in the first year,” said new President, Graham Hodson.
“The Chamber needs to become a strong voice for the businesses of the region and work closely with council to ensure we create opportunities for new businesses and assist in the ongoing development of industry in the region to ensure a strong and stable future for our economy,” he continued.
The Chamber would like to extend an invitation to all businesses in the region to get in touch and see how they can get involved. Visit the website lithgowchamber.com.au.
