The countdown is on to Lithgow’s Annual Halloween Street party, set to be the biggest yet!
Local business owners have once again joined the fun and decoration of windows is already beginning.
“The Main Street businesses always get behind things in Lithgow, but for Halloween they just take things to a whole new level,” said local real estate agent and Vice President of the Lithgow District Chamber of Commerce, Graham Hodson.
“Seeing the Council continue to support this initiative each year has really encouraged the business community to invest themselves and decorate their windows, provide lollies and treats for the trick or treat and really turn the Main Street into a family friendly funpack for the event,” Mr Hodson continued.
This year the event is also sponsored by Centennial Coal, Energy Australia, McDonalds Lithgow, Lithgow Workies and The Village Voice.
The event has grown every year since its inception in 2013, and is now an event that attracts many visitors to the region. This can only be a positive as many visitors come to the region for the first time, and then take time to explore further or return for more.
Lithgow Halloween will take place on 29th October along Main Street in Lithgow, with entertainment and markets starting from 2pm. Roads will be closed for the event, so please look for details closer to the event.
