The end of the financial year is a busy time for some business owners, however on Tuesday night over 30 local business owners got together for the inaugural night meeting of the Lithgow Business Networking Group.
The group, which regularly meets of a Wednesday morning, were joined by a number of new faces eager to hear about the activities of the group to date, the special promotion that starts next week for Christmas in July, and how they can become involved in the newly developed shoplithgow.com.au website.
The PCYC provided a fantastic venue for the evening with many guests remarking that they were not aware that facilities like that were available from the PCYC.
Businesses were given the opportunity to introduce themselves, network with other business owners and get an insight into the group’s activities in the 4 months since it started.
“I joined the group because I wanted to do something to help the town, and I’ve gotten to know a lot of my fellow business owners a lot better in the process,” said Karyn Mitchell, owner of Respectfully
The next night meeting will be held 28th July, at 6:30pm in the PCYC. For more information search for the Lithgow Business Networking Group on Facebook.
