Your chance to test out the pool this weekend!
Dig those cossies out from the back of your wardrobe and head down to the new Lithgow Indoor Aquatic Centre which is opening its doors this Saturday, 16th May 2015 from 8am to 4pm and Sunday, 17th May 2015 from 10am to 4pm.
“There will be free entry for patrons of the new indoor pool on both days,” said Councillor Maree Statham, Mayor of Lithgow City Council. “Winter season passes are now available for purchase from Council’s Administration Centre and will be available for purchase from Saturday, 16th May 2015 at the Lithgow Indoor Aquatic Centre. The winter season passes will be current until 31st October 2015.”
The pool was put to the test during a media briefing session on Tuesday afternoon, in very chilly conditions and passed with flying colours. Despite some assertions suggesting that the facility would be cold, even if the pool was warm, both the facility and the pool were warm and comfortable.
