From Lithgow Aged Care
You may already be aware that Cooinda Homes and Tanderra Nursing Home have amalgamated into one under the banner of Lithgow Aged Care.
Since this amalgamation we have seen many positive changes including the implementation of an employee incentive program which assists our existing staff to complete their university studies to become qualified Registered Nurses.
Currently we have two staff members completing their training, Aleisha Martin who started work at Tanderra Nursing Home in 2011 as an Assistant in Nursing and Martin Whyte who started work at Cooinda Homes in 2012 as a Carer. Aleisha is currently in her 1st year of study and Martin is in his 2nd year. They are both dedicated to the Aged Care industry and to Lithgow Aged Care.
Lithgow Aged Care prides itself in providing quality care to the frail and aged of our community and this employee incentive program aids in assisting staff to pursue their chosen career path whilst benefiting Lithgow Aged Care by helping to retain these dedicated staff for many years to come.
We wish Aleisha and Martin all the best for their continued studies.
We will be holding an Information Forum in June 2015 at the Lithgow Workmen’s Club. This Information Forum gives the community the opportunity to come along and get some valuable information about aged care and in particular the positive changes to Lithgow Aged Care.
We would love anyone from the community to come along, have a cuppa and a chat and gain some valuable information.
For further information on the Information Forum in June please contact Stacey Alder or Lyn Wren on (02) 63523313.
