It was the 25th Birthday of the Lithgow Craft Co-op last weekend and members – both old and new – gathered to celebrate the milestone.
The Craft Co-op has been a welcoming place for local artists to exhibit and sell their work ever since it first opened in March, 1990.
Since 1998 it has been located in the beautiful Sweetbriar Cottage on the Great Western Highway and that was where they gathered to celebrate their 25 years.
The cottage was open and the members’ amazing craftwork was on display. There was also scrapbook covering the co-op’s history, which showed a fascinating evolution over the years since it was first founded.
It was a lovely day and a great opportunity to reflect on the Craft Co-op’s achievements over the years.
