Portland Bluetongues under 10’s cricket side traveled to Bathurst to take on Raglan last Saturday.

Once again Portland Boy’s put on a great show but unfortunately they didn’t come away with a win.

Joel Lamb put on a great bowling display getting 1 for 7 of his over’s. Also bowling well for the Bluetongues was Deacon Cutting, Nate Green,  Braith Green and Ben McCulken  all picking up wickets, bowling Raglan out for 82 runs.

Nate Green and Jayden Healy both scored well with the bat. Also batting well were Logan Ward, Noah McCann, and Brock Handley

Coach Shane Green was very happy with his Team’s performance and their improvement every week.

Shane would like to thank the Portland community for their support in the recent raffle that raised funds for the team. He used the funds to purchase a bowling machine for the kids last week.

The Portland Junior Cricket Club would also like to thank Max Taylor, Wallerawang mechanical repairs for their kind donation to help the little club out.
