Westfund rallies behind Rylstone StreetFeast

Westfund Health is encouraging residents to get behind the thirteenth Westfund Health Rylstone StreetFeast, the longest running regional ‘StreetFeast’ initiative.

The regional health insurer is continuing its major sponsorship for the event which will take place on the 1st November on Louee Street in Rylstone.

Westfund became the major sponsor of the Rylstone StreetFeast in 2013 with a three year commitment. The sponsorship agreement was made in accordance with Westfund’s dedication to supporting and bolstering community health initiatives.

Darryl Goodhand, Westfund NSW State Manager, says the annual event is a great opportunity for people to get outdoors to celebrate and support the local community.

“We are excited to once again be the major sponsor of this event, bringing people together in a unique atmosphere and helping to support the local community. It highlights the scenic beauty and wonderful spirit that our region has on offer,” said Mr Goodhand

The 2014 Rylstone StreetFeast invites local businesses to set up stalls offering food, craft, art, local produce, wine and beer. There will be 50 stalls set up on the day as well as live music performances from Sam Debenham (aka Phatboy), Brooke Cornwell and the Stoney Broke Band.

Tickets are now available for the “Long Lunch” where people can enjoy lunch prepared by a local chef using fresh and seasonal produce. Tickets are $95 and over 200 tickets have already been sold.
